    中国人民大学国际关系学院外交学系主任，礼仪与公关研究中心主任，外交学博士生导师。

    1977年4月参加工作。

    1986年毕业于中国人民大学国际政治系。

    1989年9月起在中国人民大学任教。

    目前主要从事外交学、传播学、礼仪学研究。其应用礼仪的研究，目前在国内居于前沿位置，现为中国人民公安大学等多所院校兼职教授。

    目前在中国人民大学为研究生、本科生及函授生开设《外交学理论与实务》、《外交思想史》、《国际礼仪》、《涉外工作实务》、《有效沟通》、《交往艺术》、《现代商务礼仪》多门专业课、基础课。在国内高校中，首先开设礼仪课程。现招收外交学硕士研究生、外交学博士研究生。

    已公开发表近百篇文章、论文。个人正式出版专著、教材12部，主编教材6部，累计个人发表约580万字。代表作为《外交学》、《现代外交学概论》、《现代商务礼仪教程》、《国家公务员礼仪教程》、《社交礼仪教程》、《涉外礼仪教程》、《外事礼仪》、《公务员礼仪》、《服务礼仪教程》、《大学生礼仪》等。其中《外交学》为国家教育部“十五”与“十一五”规划教材，《公务员礼仪》为国家教育部“十一五“规划教材。@www.59nb.com

 

Professor Jin Zhengkun，born on November 6, 1959 in Dongyang City, eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, is dean of the Department of Diplomacy, Director of the Center for Courtesy and Public Relations Studies, and supervisor of Ph.D candidates on Diplomacy in the School of International Studies (SIS), Renmin University of China.

Graduated from the Department of International Politics in 1986, Professor Jin has been teaching at Renmin University of China since September, 1989. He mainly teaches several postgraduate and undergraduate courses, including Theory and Practices of Diplomacy, History of Diplomatic Thoughts，International Comity，Foreign Affairs Management, Effective Communication，Art of Communication, Modern Business Etiquette, etc. He is the first scholar to have started the courses on Courtesy in Chinese universities, colleges and research institutes. Therefore, Professor Jin recruits both MA and Ph. D candidates on Diplomacy.

His research interests cover Diplomacy, Communication Theory, and Courtesy. His research on practical courtesy holds a leading position in China.

Apart from nearly 100 articles and academic papers published in scholarly journals and newspapers, Prof. Jin has published 12 academic books and textbooks for college students, and has been main editor of 6 textbooks, totaling 5.8 million Chinese characters. Among all these publications, the best renowned ones are Diplomacy, Introduction to Modern Diplomacy, Modern Business Etiquette, Courtesy for National Civil Servants, A Course book on Social Etiquette, Diplomatic Etiquette, Courtesy for Foreign Service, Courtesy for Civil Servants, Service Courtesy, and Courtesy for College Students, etc. of which Diplomacy ranks among the authorized textbooks under the tenth and eleventh “Five-year Plan”, and the Courtesy for Civil Servants ranks among the authorized textbooks under the eleventh “Five-year Plan” by the Ministry of Education.
